Today see’s the transit of Mercury across the sun. It was the third such pass of 14 this century; the little planet will not transit again until 2019 and then 2032.
Here are some images I snapped from today’s transit of mercury across the sun.
Equipment used was a Skywatcher 200p 8″ newtonian telescope with a home made baader filter attached and photographed with a Canon 600D DSLR. The final raw image was edited in photoshop .
